Types
One picked feature from a batch-table tile. PickedObject.userObject when batch picking is active; the surrounding PickedObject still carries the world-space hit.
Decoded point cloud. positions / colors may be pool-backed and longer than the valid span — readers must respect positionsCount / colorsCount (in points).
Pluggable codec for the 3DTILES_draco_point_compression PNTS extension. Wired in by the worldwind-formats-gltf-draco module's installDracoDecoder(), which shares its native bridge with the glTF mesh path. Implementations must be thread-safe.
Process-level registry of 3D-Tiles-specific pluggable extensions. Apps wire concrete implementations once at startup; the engine reads the registry from the streaming + render hot path without per-layer plumbing.
OGC / Cesium 3D Tiles layer. Streams b3dm / i3dm / cmpt / pnts / glTF / Gaussian-splat payloads from a self-hosted endpoint, Cesium Ion, Google Photorealistic, or any custom-headers / Bearer-authenticated endpoint via TilesetSource.authProvider.
Renders an ArcGIS SLPK (I3S Scene Layer Package) opened in place from a local file — no extraction or copy, so 5-15 GB packages work on device (see ZipFileArchive).
Identifies a 3D Tiles dataset: the absolute URI of its root document (tileset.json for a self-hosted set; an asset-endpoint URL for Cesium Ion; root.json?key=... for Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles) and the TilesetAuthProvider used to authenticate every fetch the layer makes on its behalf.
Functions
Open a Cesium 3D Tiles Archive in place from a local file — a single-file package of an ordinary 3D Tiles dataset. Both container forms are auto-detected by magic bytes: .3tz (a ZIP, via ZipFileArchive) and .3dtiles (a SQLite media(key, content) DB, via Sqlite3dTilesArchive).
Convenience overload accepting a filesystem path string.
Reopen an Ogc3dTilesLayer from a ContentManager entry registered by an earlier openBlobStore(...) + registerWebService(...) pair. Reads the persisted earth.worldwind.layer.cache.WebServiceInfo (root URI in .address, auth-provider class name in .layerName, credentials JSON in .metadata) and rebuilds the layer end-to-end so the caller only has to do engine.layers.addLayer(layer).
